you know its funny when your teaching your students, there teaching you back without realizing it
Yep true
Nice work. I love to groove and adlib over backing tracks or self made loops.
Rock on!
Sounds great, Dan! Mixolydian is an awesome mode!
Nice!😊
Thanks! 😄
Hey Dan! I listened to your record "A Universe of Sound" and it reminded me of Glen Porter. I know he's a different groove but your technique is impeccable. Maybe with the right drums your future records will bloom. Thank you for sharing your talent to the world. ⚡
Thank you. I have a lot of fun playing. Lot of these videos are me jamming to backing tracks like this one. So everything is made up right out of the top of my head in the moment,
Really dig this!
i really felt all of it.

Great blues guitar Dan. 👏👏👍
Reminds me quite a lot when I was around 2-3 years in! We need more teachers like you out here!
Thank you
What’s the song
Who knows Jimi Hendrix
Play that neck girl
What do you do when you discover your teacher doesnt know much theory and is only teaching you technique? I get technique is important, but when they only know the major minor scale and nothing more and your progression is being limited what then?
I actually have been teaching her theory. This is just start to looking at different techniques using the pentatonic scales.
@Dan Shedore Thats great your teaching theory, I wasnt dissing or referring to your teaching, just not sure about my own teacher lol
@guitarandotherthings all is good. Ya we have been working on diatonic chords major minor the 7th chords and common progressions and dabble a little into few positions and applications f p r harmonic minor. She catches on pretty quick
you're gonna go far kid
crazy, i been playing for more than 8 years and i just started improvising, she's only been practicing for 2 years and her improvisation is more coherent than mine sounds like a super nice psychedelic solo fr
lol im better
Everyone is good in their own way.

Wow awesome, also one of my fave songs!
What app are you using?
Spark by positive grid. But you need the Amp to play songs unlimited I belive. Here is the site positivegrid.com
Slaps, can't wait to reach her level
Not bad, but she needs some scale work. She could really turn this into a sick lick if she learned some major blues scales. Just a suggestion, but otherwise is sounded good.
Awesome thank you. We are working more with scales. She Is improving a lot since we started working on them. The tapping and pinch harmonics we just started working on 2 weeks ago.
@@bluesdano There's a pc or playstation video game called "Rocksmith 2014" With their ubisoft usb guitar cable, it works to play the game with, but more specifically, it works well with training new players on how to play and practice scales. Think of Rocksmith as guitar hero, but with real guitars. When i teach my teenagge students, I like to try to engage with them through a medium that they are familiar with, and most teens play video games, so its a good way to teach them more technique and scales, without boring them. But just my suggestion, I wish you the best with your students. Shes pretty good thus far.
Thank You I really appreciate it. Ya I have rocksmith. Cool game
uhm ok
She’s gonna be good
